History is not a boring subject. It's just that you have interest on earlier period's.
.
Now as you said you have no interest in history, you start your preparation with some interesting chapter like how Mughal reign was, reason for world war, how ruling period ended etc., If you start with such suspecious topics, you will automatically gain interest towards the subject and you can continue your preparation

Hello,

You can study only the important topics of the history syllabus. Check the last few years question papers, you will get a basic idea about which chapters and parts are important and then you can plan accordingly. Try to make notes of all the important topics. Don't try to memorize everything, study the topic and try to answer the question in your own words. You can also make tables for the important incidents and their dates. Make notes while studying the subject.

Hope it helps!

Good luck!
