As the admission will totally based on the rank.
And this year rank will depend upon your percentile score. According the the exam difficulty level percentile varies at same marks or marks vary at same perectile .
But generally at 120 marks your rank will be around 60-80 thousand.( Will vary depending upon other factors)
Yoi have to secure nearly 6-8 thousand for core branch ; you can see last year's cut offs for reference :

And for this you need the secure atleast 99.5 + percentile score .
