Since you have mentioned about the exam i will let you know about the most obvious one that is JEE MAINS-:

Attempts/ Questions (With 90% accuracy)	Raw Score Range	Corresponding Percentile Rank Range
70 - 75	280 - 295	99 percentile - 100 percentile
60 - 69	200 - 280	95 percentile - 98.99 percentile
50 - 59	120 - 199	90 - 94.99 percentile
40 - 49	85 - 119	86 - 89 percentile

According to last year marks vs rank scenario, the rank for 120 marks will be around 1 lakh .

This rank may slightly change owing to the differences in the difficulty level of the question papers of 2019 and 2020.
