Hello aspirant,
Admission in NIT'S and IIIts are made through JOSAA on the basis of JEE main ranks but in order to get into this institution one needs to have a very good rank and atleast below 8000 in sc category also. So according to the previous years cutoff you will not get a seat in NIT or IIT with this rank in sc category and thus no allotment might be made to you through JOSAA though if you are lucky enough you may get a lower branch in some NIT in the last and special round of the councilling if the seats remain vacant. Admission are also based on various factors such as category, home state quota, branch selection, number of students applied, etc.
You can also go through the previous years cutoff for a better understanding.
Hope this helps.
If any queries feel free to ask.
All the best!!
Regards.
