Any rank between 10,000 and 25,000 is considered to be a good rank in an important state-level engineering entrance examination like KCET.

According to  KCET cutoffs, with a rank of 20000, you can get mechanical engineering at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore, CMR Institute of technology, Bangalore, New Horizon college of engineering, Bangalore, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore, BNM Institute of technology, Bangalore.
