As you have not mentioned your state and category so I'll be answering for AIQ and general category. So in general category and in AIQ you have no chances of getting a government medical or dental colleges. You should go for management quota seat in self funded colleges you may get a medical seat there.

You didn't tell us your category and state. States like Meghalaya and Nagaland, the cut offs are very low for SC and ST Category. But for other states the cut offs are very very high. 240 is just not enough to get a college through government seat.
