As you mentioned ,that you have scored 255 marks , sc category but didn't mentioned whether you have state quota or not;So, I'll consider both the scenarios.

Under all india quota, if consider last year's cutoff 422 marks were atleast required for sc category to get a medical seat in karnataka government medical college;according to these stats ,your chances are very less.

Under state quota, last year's cutoff was 261 marks for sc category ,means you have slight chances to get admission under state quota.Also this year ,there is increase in mbbs seats by 4,500 all over india ,so atleast go for the counseling as you have chance to get admission.
