This is the eligibility criteria set by NTA(regulatory body of NEET) to take NEET exam -
Criteria for academic qualification-
Students who have passed the class XII qualifying exam.
Students who are appearing for the class XII qualifying exam.
Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology as their subjects in Class XII.
All applicants must have obtained the necessary aggregate marks in the qualifying exam:
General Category- 50% marks in qualifying exam.
OBC/SC/ST Category- 40% marks in qualifying exam.
General- Physically Handicapped Category- 45% marks in qualifying exam.

Indian Nationals
Non-Residentials Indians (NRIs)

Age limit criteria
Minimum Age Requirement- 17 years as on December 31, 2019.
Maximum Age Limit*- 25 years of age or more for unreserved category candidates and 30 years of age for reserved and PwD category candidates.
