Hello,
Previous year the last student who got admission to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Adilabad had these marks in different categories;
Gen:494
SC:394
ST:408
BC:414
So with 490 marks you have some chances of getting a decent government college in Telangana through state quota.
Having said that cutoffs change every year depending upon level of toughness of exam.

Hi sir,

To answer your question i need your caste...I will try my best to clear your point.Go through below percentage and caste wise scoring once,i hope it will help you.
  • .
  • Unreserved=50 percentile
  • Unreserved PH(UR-PH)=45 percentile
  • SC=40 percentile
  • ST=40 percentile
  • OBC=40 percentile

These are  according to 2019 cencus...
You can even calculate your score with all India rank score to get your percentage.

Sorry,i have heard BC category needs 500 or above to get a seat in collegs.
.
Let me also suggest you something,You almost scored maximum marks so Give a try For some colleges.
.
Some of the college seats may not be full, ask your elder once to ask them in there colleges.
.
