Hello,

There are certain factors affecting neet cutoff every year

The total number of NEET candidates appearing for the exam.

The level of difficulty in the NEET 2021 question paper .

The total number of seats available in the MBBS and BDS colleges of the state.

Marks scored in the NEET result 2021.

If you're are a general category student your chances are low for mbbs in assam. But if you're are reserved category student your chances increases in this case.

Read the link given below to check neet cutoff according to your category-

Hi

I am assuming you from general category

Your profile suggests that your domicile state is Assam

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available

------------) the category you are from etc

But when we go through previous data then ,

>>>>> with  518  marks ,

You hold  a low chance for an mbbs seat in a Government Medical College

For example,

in neet  2020, 529 marks for general category was the lowest mark to get an mbbs seat in  Government Medical College,   under Assam  State quota and it was for Dighu Medical College, Diphu

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-assam

But yes,

You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their cut off rank in neet 2020,2nd round all india counselling conducted  for 100 % deemed university seats   :-

And a few more

-------) For bds

in case if you want to get a seat in BDS then you have good chances for government and Dental colleges under Assam state quota some of which are listed below with their cutoff in 2020 for general category:-

  • Government Dental College, Dibrugarh:- 513

  • Government Dental College, Silchar:- 509 marks
