Greetings aspirant,

frankly speaking almost seventy percent of the student faces this dilemma, rest of the thirty either doesn`t care or doesn`t know. Let me explain it to you in brief. The checking process of almost all the exams in India is automated, hence the chance of biasness is diminished right there. The marking algorithm follows various different protocols and is based set of rules. In most of the exams there are questions that carries although same marks but higher weightage than the rest, meaning if two person has obtained same marks but the one who has attended more questions with higher weightage will secure better rank. Similar is the rule for negative marking or wrong answers. If two students get same marks then the one with less wrong answer secures improved rank. There is also rule in case of some exams, where for two students with same marks the fresher gets more priority than the repeater one. Along with that, time taken to solve the questions is also recorded and taken into account. Likewise, there are several rules to govern the ranking process. Please donot get disheartened, these exams are a lot dependent on luck as well, not necessarily everyone will get those topics they have prepared best.

I would suggest you to stay updated to the schedule of the exam you are speaking about and keep the documents ready and up to date.

Hope it helps.

All the best for your future endeavours!
