Hi there,

Securing a seat in government medical college will depend on the rank you get in NEET 2022 which actually depends on a lot factors like difficulty level of the exam, number of students appeared etc.

Going by previous year's data your rank maybe around 16k. In NEET 2021 the rank at which the government college was allotted in second round of counselling of All India Quota was 15657 for general category candidate but it went up to 19k in mop up round hence you can get a government college through 15% AIQ. Also since cutoff of 85% state quota is generally lower than AIQ so do make sure that you participate in state counselling of your domicile state too to increase chances of securing a seat in better reputed government medical college.
