I got 6690 rank in VITEEE , I will to take a seat if I get category 1 CSE with spec (prefer data science) ,I wasn't alloted any seat in phase 1 and in phase 2 seats aren't available but I think once JEE main is conducted most of the people will opt out and seats will be vacant, am I right ?

Hi aspirant,

No buddy, the counseling process at Vellore institute of technology is not at all like that of you have mentioned. If a seat in lower category is vacant due to candidates pulling back their names, that seat is transferred to the higher fee categories ( mostly in 4th and 5th).
