To qualify for JEE advanced, candidate is supposed to have minimum 75%aggregate marks in all five subjects appeared from 12th board exam or should be under top 20 percentile.

However, for SC/ST the category is relaxed to 65%.

So, if you dont fall in general category, you are not permitted for JEE advanced and Mains.

You can alternatively go for exams like MHCET for engineering courses. You can check eligibilty criteria and colleges accepting MHCET scores below:

No. You will have to fulfill any of the below mentioned criteria - Either 75% is compulsory or you should be there in top 20 percentile. So if you don't meet the criteria then you wont be eligible to get admission there in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs. Hope this helps!!!
