According to jee rules you should have to give improvement in all 5 subjects and then try to get more than 75% in all subject not in pcm then you are eligible for NITS/IITS.

Hello Dear

Yeah definitely you will be eligible for writing the JEE mains as there is not any such type of eligibility in that. Since last year you have a 73% marks in the class 12th and if this year by writing the improvement exam if you manage to score more than 75% in your board exams overall then you will definitely be eligible for getting into the NIT or IIT premises .
