The eligibility criteria for NITs/IIITs/GFTIs clearly mentions that to get a seat in these colleges one must at least get 75% in 12th or be in top 20 percentile of his batch of boards. This is for general and OBC candidates. So as you mention 73 percent marks in 12th, getting into a IIITs is not possible for you.
