For getting admission in NIT the 12th boards score do matter ( That is a candidate must at least score 75% ) and in JEE Mains the candidate must score high enough to get admission in your choice of your branch. By high enough it is meant to score at least 200 on 360.
NOTE :- 200 on 360 is just an estimation. The cutoffs vary every year depending upon number of factors.
My suggestion is that you must try to score as high you can so that you can get admission in NIT and branch of your choice.

you're having enough marks in your +2 board exam for nit's.but you've to score more in jee mains entrance exam,because the new nit's also requires around 110+ marks to get even core branches.for top branches, you should have 200+ in jee mains.
