Since you are a non local candidate, there is no chance for you to get JNTUA with this rank. The cutoffs are usually high for the ones who are non local candidates and a rank of 8021 doesn't come into consideration as less number of seats are reserved for non-local candidates. I would suggest you to try for other colleges.

If that is so then you can have chance. Now see the cutoffs and your chances of getting a seat will depend on factors like the number of seats available, the ranks of the other candidates who are waiting for JNTUA etc. So you can wait but it is always advisable to keep back up options.
