hello aspirant,

81.9 percentile  could fetch you a rank around 185163-208150 .now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc.based on your rank you have tough to no chances to fetch seat in government colleges like  nits, iiits.you need a minimum percentile of 96-98+ to fetch seat in good nits, iiits.the previous  year qualifying percentile for obc was 70-75 percentile.so based on that you have good chances to get qualified in jeemain.note that each year cutoff changes and if it changes so are your chances into colleges. try to fetch seat in private colleges or universities.or you can try the state btech colleges using jeemain percentile. you need better percentile to fetch seat.workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

hope this helps,

thankyou.

Hello,

Based on our JEE Main rank predictor tool the overall expected rank to be in between 185163 - 208150. To check the overall percentile and rank you can use our JEE Main rank predictor tool:

Your rank based on category is expected to be over 40,000. The actual rank may change after the result depending on the performance of the candidates in the exam, top score, total number of candidates appeared, tie breakers etc. With such rank it is very difficult to get seat in NITs. The ideal percentile for OBC-NCL candidate to get seat in NITs is 97 percentile or more. You have decent chances to qualify in JEE Main considering the previous year qualifying cut off percentile. The qualifying cut off percentile for OBC-NCL category was 72.8887969 and the expected qualifying cut off percentile will be in between 70-75 percentile. Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc. You may not get seat in NITs or IIITs with such rank but you may have chances to appear for JEE Advanced. So you can prepare for JEE Advanced if you want to get admission in IIT.

You can use our JEE main college predictor tool to know the colleges in which you may get seat
