It depends on a few factors , firstly you can attempt the second session if you want to improve your score and then attempt jee advanced. Secondly, you will have to do the thorough check on the jee mains sectional cut-off for Jee advanced eligibility. Hence, if you qualify that eligibility cut-off you can directly attempt jee advanced through your 82.39 percentile and skip the April session, or else you can try out for april session if you are firm enough that you would score well and qualify the cut-off.
Hey Sachin.
You have both the options to appear in the April session of JEE Mains and to take JEE Advanced too. If you are satisfied with your marks that you have scored in the January session then you can go ahead and take the JEE Advanced only. Appearing for the April session in not compulsory.
But if you're not then you have a chance to improve your marks in JEE Mains in the April Session. Also the best of two marks from both the sessions will be considered. So the session in which you score higher, will beconsidered to determine your final marks.
Best of luck!
