Hello aspirant,
Congratulations for the good results. NIT's are the second topmost technical institute of India every student wants to get admission in this colleges. Though competition is very tough and also admission depends on various factors such as category, home state quota, branch, number of students applied, number of seats, difficulty level of examination, etc. Also according to your category and marks your rank is very low so it will be hard for you to get into any good NITs with a very good branch. There are some chances that you can get a seat in lower branch in lower NIT.

Dear Lucky if I say honestly you can't get NIT with 84 percentile you have to get above 95 percentile to get NIT because the cutoffs for NIT is very high but you can try for government colleges of various states through counselling of Jee mains or you find out other optional too.
