As far as your percentile is concerned which is 84.9 let me tell you that it is not possible to predict because the dynamics of this college changes considerably. In addition to that percentile system has been introduced recently from last 2 years so it's tough to predict on the basis of percentile.

If your rank stays under 5-6k in this percentile then you can be sure that you will get the cse branch. And if it is above that rank then you have to go with it and cse specialisations.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
