It doesn't matters that you are from Kerala or any other state (except Kashmir). Since your marks are not so high, there are fewer chances of selection in NITs. However you can try during the counselling rounds.

Well it dosen't matter where you belong from that's a good score but not that good enough. wait for the cutoffs mayb you can get into some of good GFI's with a good branch.
