I got the exact same percentile last year. So yeah! If you badly want to get into some NIT irrespective of the branch wait till the last round of counselling and do attend the spot round you may get in some north eastern NIT's. I got mech branch in NIT Manipur last year. You can also apply for universities like shastra and shiv nadar..If you are interested in chemical engineering apply for ICT ! It is a renowned college for chemical branch. If these do not work out , we have private colleges! So best of luck

HELLO ANAND

I THINK YOU SHOULD NOT THINK ABOUT THE COLLEGE RIGHT NOW. BECAUSE IT WILL ALL DEPEND ON YOUR RANK WHICH WILL BE DISPLAYED AFTER YOUR APRIL SESSION. AND FOR SURE YOUR PERCENTILE IS NOT AT  ALL BAD. SO YOU CAN HOPE TO GET NIT BUT INSTEAD OF MAKING OUR OWN VIEWS, WE SHOULD WAIT FOR THE RANK LIST AND YOU SHOULD GIVE YOUR BEST IN YOUR APRIL SESSION. SO BEST OFLUCK FFOR YOUR APRIL SESSION.

Hello,

According to your percentile your category rank would be around 100k-120k(by careers360 rank predictor). But this percentile is not sufficient to fetch a seat in Nits/Iiit/gfti.still you have a chance to get into Nits, prepare well for april exam. As there is less time you should work smart. Prepare a schedule as per the known weightages and work evenly for the 3 subjects. Prepare short notes for chemistry from ncert. Also prepare a formulas list for maths and physics. Time management is also an important thing,so work on the practice papers within the given time. Maintain a error notes where you should note all your errors so that it will be useful for revision

Good luck!

Hello Anand

90.79 percentile means around near to 10 percent students score more than you( means in 10 lakhs your rank is 1 lakh)

So it will be difficult to get NIT or IIIT with this percentile.

So try to score more in second attempt and try to secure 99+ percentile.

Good luck

Hi Anand !

Congratulations ! You have got 90.79 percentile in your JEE MAINS examination . Your probable rank will be in between 97k to 110k . So it's impossible for you to get admission in NITs . But there are other colleges too which take admission on the basis of JEE MAINS examination . Some of them are :-

Thapar , Amity , Jamia Islamia etc.
