If you are a General category student, branches like Computer Science will be hard to get a seat into. However you have a chance for branches like Civil Engineering which has a closing rank of 1,19,800. Mechanical Engineering which has a closing rank of around 1,05,000 and even Information Technology. If you are a reserved category, student you have a fair chance at getting a seat in CSE.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
