Hi Sajithaa,
Congratulations on the fantastic score!
As per your percentile, your proposed general rank is 7996 which is calculated considering that the total number of students who appeared for the January session was 1,45,386. And you also need to take in account the fact that, first, this is the general ranking and your merit will vary according to your category and second, this rank is subject to change in April after the NTA announces the final result post normalizing results from both the sessions.
Therefore, there will be some difference in your final ranking. The cutoff ranking for NIT Calicut for 2018 was the General Category for other state domicile candidates was 44 (opening rank) to 1323 (closing rank). The cutoffs each year do vary minimally and you also have to take into account the Home State Domicile quota and the other category based quotas.
