It's depend up to your luck bro. But according to previous year cuttoff you can get civil or pie at nit kurukshetra by using your home state quota + obc category.
In my opinion try to get 97 percentile in April so that you can easily get nit kurukshetra.

As you have a great percentile is great ,falling in OBC category and you are from Karnataka then you might not have any problems in getting admitted in NITK. Use this formula for calculating your approximate rank ( The rank calculated wiill not be obsolete please do not assume it to be accurate.):-

Rank Formula = (100 - your total score) X 874469 /100.

And then you can check the opening and closing ranks in NITK by visiting this site:-

First of all congrats on your marks, it is not bad at all. As you know cutoff's are still not released but according to the recent trending news and considering your OBC category there is a chance to Get into NITK (not sure about branches). But, still work hard for the phase 2 exam and try to improve your percentile.
