KCET rank will be calculated by considering the performances in KCET and QE (qualifying examination) as well.I will explain with an example ,let us assume that u have scored 77/180 in KCET,then your % marks in KCET is 47.77% and in QE it is 97% now they will add this two( that is, the formula goes like this
Rank will be given
R={(%KCET+%QE)/200}×100
Then they will sort ,who has got more R(i have taken this ‘R’ for better understanding) value will get good rank.
And the rank to a particular ‘R’ value varies every year,
