Hello Sanjana,
Well SASTRA University takes admission through two streams.
Stream 1 : The candidates needs to have appeared in JEE Mains paper 1 and should be 10+2 or equivalent exam qualified. 70% of the seats will be filled through stream 1.
Stream 2 : 30% of the seats will be filled through candidates 10+2 or equivalent normalized scores.
Now , since you have appeared for JEE Mains and also have a good percentile in your intermediate, therefore you are eligible to apply for SASTRA University. On the basis of all the candidates scores, a merit list will be prepared by the authorities and from that admissions will be done. So you have to wait for the merit list and attend the counselling proccess inorder to see which seat do you get.
