Sanjay yeah definitely with having the score range of 98 percentile in the JEE mains entrance exam will lead you to the zone of NIT as well IIIT too, but in case if you are a lover of top branches like CSE / IT then in such case there might be somewhat struggling between the top NITs but anyways hope for the best.

JEE main cutoff in 2019 is used for getting admission.

the list of cutoff for NIT or IIIT is

common rank list - 89.75

genral EWS- 78.21

obc-ncl - 74.31

sc- 54.01

st - 44.33

pwd - 0.11

so you can take admission  if you are equal to or below the cutoff of JEE Main 2019.

there are many local government and private colleges which may be suitable for you.

Definitely you can get seat in NIT and IIIT
