CSE department has some awesome faculty like CK Swain sir, Binod Jena sir, BK Patnayak sir, Ambika sir and others (These were top faculty in our time, now ITER has other faculty of which some are iitians or iiscians perhaps). Unfortunately, most of the students don't have learning attitude in ITER. From first day of college they have only one thing in mind…Placement, Placement and Placement..!! Because if this negativity in environment , those faculty are unable to teach at decent level. If you have hunger of knowledge, try to interact with them individually, they would definitely guide you. They are very helpful.

Placement: If your priority is placement, please don't have high expectation from ITER. Placement is almost same like other college in Odisha. Except few or sometimes none, all are placed in Service based IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. My suggestion is, don't focus on placement, have some long term plan like gate, gre, cat, upsc or whatever field in which you want to build your career.
