With an EWS rank of 17,695 in JEE Main, it is unlikely to secure a seat in top NITs for popular branches like CSE or ECE. However, you may have a chance in newer or lower-demand branches at NITs. It depends on the specific institute and the seat allocation process.

With an EWS rank of 17,695 in JEE Main 2025, getting a seat in top NITs is very difficult.

However, you might have a small chance in lower-ranked NITs or in less demanded branches like Civil, Production, or Metallurgy, especially in the spot rounds.

You should also apply for IIITs, GFTIs, and keep options open through CSAB special rounds.
