    Your percentage is simply addition of all scores obtained divided by total maximum score combined of all subjects.

    For Engineering exams like Jee Main, 5 subjects are considered like PCM and English and one additional subject like Hindi for calculations of aggregate. So your 6th subject becomes additional subject.
