But you can go for NIT's or any other government colleges.There are chances that you can get a NIT of your home state. But there will be certain factors determining the results like number of vacancies in the particular branch. If you want to apply for a government college other than NIT's and IIIT's then there are high chances that you will get selected in a decent college.

You have not mentioned your category, assuming that you belong to general category with such rank it iv very difficult to get seat in IIITs. You may check the previous year cut off for IIITs by clicking the link below to get some idea

Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exams and number of seats available. You will have to seek admission in other colleges through state counselling.
