  The salary range for ayurvedic and surgery graduate is competitive with his other counterparts in the related medical field. You can get paid an upward of Rs. 250,000 per annum as a graduate in BAMS. Unless you are genuinely interested in Ayurveda and wish to pursue a career in pure Ayurveda, please don’t opt for BAMS

However usually the cutoff goes something like

 1) Government - Cutoff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGES range in 420+ for General Candidates and 400+ for OBC.Fees is lowest in range of 20000

2) Semi - Government - Cutoff for this type of Colleges are somewhat lower and fees is higher than government in range of 40–50000. Its Cutoff is 400+ for General Candidate and 360+ for OBC.

3) Private - Now this is the most variable type of cutoff. As Colleges with low fee tend to have higher Cutoff and high fee college has low cutoff. Fees is in range of 1–3 lakh per year. Cutoff is in range of 300+ for General and 280+ for OBC.

but this is just an estimate as  these things vary every year based on the difficulty of paper etc
