I suppose that an obc ncl rank of 6040, is a bit too much to get admitted to any IIT. However you can give a try for other colleges which gives admission on the basis of JEE advance scores. These colleges are good enough and most importantly are central lukl RGIPT, IIPE IISC, etc.

It totally depends on you, you can either attain a very good rank or your rank can fall drastically.
