You can change your category for GATE 2021 by 13th November 2020 and an additional fee will be charged for making the change in the category. In case if you do not obtain your EWS category whatsoever the reason you may have to change your category because any incorrect information in the online application will lead to cancellation of your candidature. There is still time for the correction deadline so if you obtain the EWS certificate on or before 13th November 2020 you don't have to change your category in the application form if not you have to change it.
