in Pune* : COEP, PICT, SPPU, Army Institute of Technlogy, Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT), Bharati Vidyapeeth (BVP), Symbiosis, D.Y.Patil, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT)

Do Not get confused with some names such as MIT; there are a few of them in Pune as far as you search casually at a glance using Google. Identify and remember the real one.

*I will not be able to guide you concretely for the colleges in Pune as I am based in Mumbai. But the choices for the top/good colleges won't change. Importantly, keep yourself up-to-date with the past few years of cutoff details.

Be realistic in shortlisting your colleges (it wouldn't hurt to have hopes though, you never know you might land up in your dream college; then again dreams too, should be realistic).

Finally, you have one more shot at admission at a college of your choice other than CAP rounds : Institute-level rounds ! Keep an eye on this one too, might come handy...Here it's better if you visit the colleges personally (although most colleges declare information regarding this round on their respective websites).

Actively follow the official website as it's your best lifeline.
