Hello Vibhor,

Eligibility to join for MBA is 50% marks in Undergraduate degree from recognized university and candidate have to secure good percentile in XAT, MAT, CAT, and CMAT. Some of the Universities are conducting their own entrance examination also.

Hope this information will help you. Best wishes.

Good Luck!

As per eligibility criteria of various management aptitude exams be it CAT, XAT,NMAT, TISS, SNAP or MAT it is a mandatory condition to have atleast 50 percent marks in graduation from a recognised university so even if your score is good enough but since you does not fulfill the eligibility condition you will not be shortlisted for further process.

For further details about eligibility criteria of MAT Exam you can take help from the below mentioned link:-

Hello Vibhor,

You have a good score in MAT but the real issue can be your 48% in your graduation if you do not belong to any reserved category, the colleges usually require minimum 50% in graduation. I am listing below the colleges for which you may be eligible based on expected MAT cut off and their eligibility criteria since you haven't mentioned your category:

  • Balaji Institute of Modern Management- 600 (expected cut off)- a graduate from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category).
  • ABV-IIITM, Gwalior -600 (expected cut off)- first class or equivalent in any branch of engineering/ technology or Master degree in computer applications or masters degree in science, operation research, computer science, economics and commerce with mathematics or statistics at the bachelor level. A relaxation of 5 % in marks is provided to SC/ST candidates.
  • IFIM Business School- 600 (expected cut off)- Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% for all subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Alliance School of Business-500 (expected cut off)- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline from a recognized institution.

Hope this answers your query, feel free to ask for more info.
