To get admission in any of the NITs, the minimum required percentile score is 98+%ile.

Your score is too low to qualify for the Advanced level exam and so you may not become eligible for it.



As per the previous JEE Mains criteria, candidates having rank within 2 lakh will be qualified for JEE Advanced.

I would suggest you to work more hard and prepare well and appear for the April exam.

You still have time and so give your Bestt possible to score maximum.

Percentile= (marks you got*100)/(toppers marks in that session).

According to careers360 rank formula,

Rank formula= [(100-total score) * (no of students wrote exam)] /100

No of students attended are 874469.

So your expected rank will be nearly around 2,88,575.

As per previous year jee mains, any rank below 2,00,000 will be qualified for jee advanced.

So according to expected rank of yours, so you may or may not be eligible for jee advanced as we can't predict the category rank(maximum you will be qualified according to me).

So don't worry prepare well and write april jee mains well. best of the two exams will be considered.
