Hello Adwaidh,

for getting  admission in NIT, 80 percentile is too low percentile.

top NITs take admission approximately 95 percentile and above.

if you want NITs ,then you can give JEE main going to be held in April.

registration form will be available from 8 Feb to 7 march.

thank you so much.

hope you understand.

Hello

To get admission in any of the NITs, your percentile score should be minimum 98+%ile
For top NITs under top branches- like CSE, Mechanical, required rank is within 4-5K
Well, based on your percentile, your rank comes around 174893 by calculating with the given formula: (100 - your percentile) * (874469/100)
Here, 874469 is the total number of candidates who appeared for the January session of JEE Mains exam. This is the estimated rank and it may vary with the actual one depending upon the number of candidates appearing in the April session exam.
The NTA will release the final cutoff percentile after the April session and later the different NITs will also release their admission cutoffs. So you'll get the clear idea regarding your admission-possibilities in any NIT later. You will have to wait for now. Hope for the best.!

Hope this helps.!
Good Luck.!
