There are various types of scholarships available to students. Some are government while others may be private or semi-government. So you can get government scholarship depending on your qualification, annual family income, category, course and others. Yes, you can apply for Government scholarships with EWS certificate. EWS  certificate is especially made for those candidates who's parents income is less and they can have a right to own the scholarships for educational purpose or to get back the Amount which is spent on education

Along with EWS Certificate , you will need other documents also like income tax certificate of your parents, annual income etc
