I too have same problem.So, I can understand what difficulty you are facing.Yes, youcan give 12th in 2020 but must need to score more 75% in CBSE as well as score good in Jee mains and advanced to get admission in such institutions as we have 3 tries for JEE mains from the year we give 12 the first time.

Yes, you can get into IIT in 2020 if-
- Your result is released before the counselling for IITs
- You are qualified for giving JEE Advance by giving JEE Mains.
- You Score enough to clear the cutoff of your desire college and desire stream.

Thx for Ur answer but I have some further queries like will there be any problem as i had once registered mysefm as a regular cbse candidate in JEE main this year ( though I didn't went to attempt it due to my health) moreover, plz don't take it otherwise but since I'm presuming that you aren't from the teaching background or associated with any educational or academical authoratative body so are u sure abiab the current rules and regulations ? If possible , so could you plz provide me with some excerpts or guidleguid associated with this from the ofvioffi page of any of the concerned board or institute? ( Plz note that this question surfaces in my mind from the fact that I'm in deep mental agony and anxiety these days)
