Latest: Meet B.Tech expert in your city to shortlist colleges
hello aspirant,
YOU, cannot retain your allotted seat in SRM Counselling. IF you have got a seat in SRM Counselling and if you do not accept your allotted seat then your seat will be offered to some other candidate who has also registered himself/herself in the SRM Counselling. To avoid that, you can cancel the seat or you can accept the seat allotted to you in SRM Counselling.
Further, to know more about the SRM Counselling, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/srmjeee-counselling
I hope that this will help.
Hello Aspirant
You can retain your seat, only if you accept it by paying the complete seat acceptance fee and the fee for 1st year(if asked by University before your result).
Then, you will have 2 options. If you are satisfied by your JEE Result and you think you can get a better branch in a better college, you can withdraw your admission from this college and most probably you will get most of your paid amount back after cutting an amount of INR 1.5k-2k. It would be better if you check about this with the college Authorities.
If, you think the college you are currently in is a better option then you can continue with it only.
Hope this helps.
All the best!
