Hello,

With 83 percentile it's quite difficult for you to get admission in any NITs unless you belong to Northeast states where cutoff generally goes low.

Alternatively you have very good chance in your state colleges and thus can participate in state councelling.

Biswanath Meher NIT rourkela closes at around 95 percentile for home state and 96.5 percentile for other state students.
