Yes, you can appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced even if there is gap in education in between class 10th and class 12th. A candidate can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination and he/she can appear for JEE Advanced for two consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination that is 10+2. There is no age limit to appear for JEE Main. Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2022 must be born on or after October 1, 1997. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD category.
