Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course you can appear for NEET 2021 if you have passed your class 12th with Physics, Biology, Chemistry  and English as mandatory subjects and also you should have your minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB if you belongs to Unreserved category, 40% for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PwD certificate holders.

Also there is no upper age limit for NEET but there is minimum age limit for NEET which is 17 years which means that if you want to appear for NEET 2021 the you must have completed your 17 years on December 31st 2021.

If all above eligibility criteria are fulfilled by you then you can appear for NEET UG 2021. It does not matter whether you have passed your 12th class as private candidate or regular candidate.

Neha No it won't create any problem because still private candidates are eligible to appear for NEET. You should leave that or if it is compulsory then you can write the name of your respective board from which you have completed class 12th as a private student.

Hey,

The NEET Eligibility criteria mentions that candidates who have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with an aggregate of 50% (45% for PWD, 40% for SC/ST/OBC) from a recognized board.

As long as you have passed class 12 from a recognized board whether being a private or regular candidate, you are equally eligible for NEET. Moreover for NEET 2021, candidates need to be of 17 yeas as on December 31, 2021.
