candidates will have to qualify 10+2 or any equivalent exam, conducted by any recognised central/ state board like CBSE, ICSE, counsil for the indian school certificate examinations, new delhi etc.
Passing percentage:
The eligibility criteria of JEE MAIN 2019 does not specify any pass percentage for appearing in the exam. This is because the exam is also an eligiblity test for admission to B.Tec / B.E programmes in states like Madhya Pradesh , Odisha, Nagaland ,Haryana etc and the percentage required by students in class 12 varies from state to state.
So I suggest you that you can give JEE main but you need to score above 75%marks in CBSE board for getting admission in nit.
