Firstly congratulations on a good score. You can easily get a CSE branch at Manipal University. You have a better score to opt for the preferred branch. Manipal University is of the best University for its performance and placements. Usually 150 and above is a very good score in MET.

First of all congratulations for your performance. It's indeed a good one. According to me this year to get CSE in Manipal main campus you need marks between 160-180+, so you may have a chance it's not necessary that you won't get the branch. One thing is for sure that you can easily get IT branch in the main Manipal campus. You should keep an eye on other Manipal campuses as well.
