Hello aspirant,
I'm sorry to inform you but there is a huge competition for getting a seat in iit, and accordingly there are very few seats available for getting preparatory courses as well so the cuts offs are way too high, you need to have a single or double digit rank to get admission in the preparatory courses. So, you won't get cse in any of the nits.
You can try for different nits if you have a decent jee mains rank.

Hello there. Since the prep rank are only meant for preparatory course in IIT and that can is of no use other than that. And sorry to say but with that rank you can't get any IIT or NIT with that rank.

And coming up other colleges, all the other colleges other than IIT admission are done on the basis of JEE mains rank. So if you have scored good rank in JEE mains than you might have good chance to get into good colleges.
